1 ½ Cup of Baking Soda

1 ½ Cup of Washing Soda (Plain- No Additives)

1 Cup Borax

½ Cup Epsom Salt

2 Tablespoons of Salt

5 Drops Purification Essential Oil (Or Lavender or Lemon)

Glass, airtight container

  • Essential Oils- Can vary from who you want to buy your oils from. I go between Youngliving and Amazon: For a pack of SIX oils on amazon it is $12.99 or buy one for $3.00 (For purposes below I only estimated the $3 one unsure if everyone would buy the $12.99 pack with 6 oils)

RESULT: You can make 3 LOADS FOR 80-85 WASHES EACH LOAD only for $20.81!

 

Makeup Remover:

  • Coconut or Olive Oil (Yes, olive oil. It doesn’t clog up as many pores)
  • Cotton Balls or Pads

*** After you use the oil make sure to wash your face after with a cleanser or even water and towel to get the extra oil off***

  • Bag of 150 cotton balls or 50 pads- $1 DOLLAR STORE

 

RESULT: The 16 ounces of coconut oil has lasted me 15 months so far and I still am not done using it as makeup remover- $11.97 is the total.
